History:Nashik was first introduce to mankind way back thousands of year ago by King Lord Shree Rama..when he with his wife Sita and brother Laxman stayed here for more than decade made the nashik oldest city in the region.The area called Panchvati (means group of five Fig-Trees) is still in the city as mark of Indian culture and history.Then Nashik become major part of region and country and visited by so many great peoples, even Pandvas lived here in Pandava-caves. In last Century nashik was blessed with legends like Veer Savarkar who started Abhinav Bharat here, Anant Kanhere who was freedom fighter from nashik, Kusumagraj (v.v.shirwadkar) was well known marathi poet,Pandit Paluskar creator for Indian musical notation, Dadasaheb phalke -first film maker of India, Vasant kanetkar famous Drama and story writer and many more....the list go on for actors,music directors,singers,dancers, sportsman's, politicians, industrialists. Nashik is blessed by so many beautiful and holy temples which are renew by king Shivaji and Ahilyabai Holkar. Major temples from nashik contains temple of Kalaram,Kapaleshwar,Someshwar,Sunder Narayan,Temple of Godawari and few more.
Temple of Saptshrungi Devi , Trimbakeshwar and Saibaba are near from nashik.It is also host of Kumbh Mela after each 12 tears ..Last one was in 2003.
Nashik is birth place of Shree Hanumaan. Besides that the list is very huge and interesting.

Geography: Nice is cool,pleasant and lovable bit higher than other cities from sea , who require longitude and latitude. It has huge infrastructure of roads,water, parks (one park for per 10000 citizen..more than any other city). Nashik is origin of river godavari, Nashik is 190 Km from Mumbai by road and 210 km from Pune which are the two major cities in state. Nashik-Pune-Mumbai is golden triangle of state which is the major economic belt contains Thane city also in between Nashik and Mumbai. it is also near to tire three cities like Aurangabad, Dhule, Jalgaon,Nandurbar, Sangmner. It comes with Heavy rainfall district.Nashik District contains Malegaon, Kalwan, Satana, Devala,Yeola (well known for Paithani style saree),Dindori and Nifad(sugar mills), Sinner (major industrial zone of state), Igatpuri, Peth, Surgana, Trimbkeshwar, Nandgaon. Nashik is Grape city with best grape in region. 70 % India eat nashik onion. nashik is Wine Capital of India with more than 800 crore income from wine part of 90% what India earn.
Produce finest Rose and vegetable also well knows for its advance agriculture growth with no farmer suicide till date.
Commercial:Nashik city got two MIDC(Maharashtra state industrial corporation) ambad and Satpur which contais major compnies like Mahindra, Mico(Botch), Crompton ,Simmens and 100 of others. Nashik is next mall city of state with huge malls. Nashik City Center Mall is 450m+ in width. with big bazzars, mcDs, Pizza huts, subways and and Barista..ccd..nashik got all
from local to international with more branded showrooms than local shops in region of college road and Nashik road. nashik contains Currancy Note Press pf india..which prints Indian currency and stamps..It also got HAL hindustan Aeronautical Limited producer of Mig and Sukhoi plans. Nashik Got so many wine testing centers like sula and york and all. The Chiwada of Nashik is very famous.
